With all the mixed messaging, lack of education and inconsistent bin programmes, compostables often end up in the wrong waste streams because they have mixed in with other waste. The problem is when they do, it can potentially mean more harm than good! When a compostable product ends up in landfill and not on a compost heap where it belongs, it contributes to methane release. Methane warms the Earth faster than CO2!

Healthy Soil
Simply put, we need healthy soil to grow healthy food to feed and nourish us. Compost is a natural soil fertiliser and enhancer, which helps to nourish the soil and keep water in, so it’s more resilient to drought. And when it comes to climate change, we need healthy soil to help sequester carbon. If the soil isn’t healthy, it doesn’t matter how many trees we plant, we will never be able to draw down CO2 fast enough.

Who
We are Giles Barron (Assistant Director) & Charlotte Michel (Co-ordinator), and we’ve both worked in the Film & TV industry for over 10 years.
Together we’re on a mission to help change the habits and ways of thinking about the world we work and live in by educating our friends, family and colleagues about the big and little things we can do in our everyday lives. That’s why even our website is hosted on 100% renewable energy!
We hope to become friends with all of our customers and work with you to create bespoke packaging solutions for your business.
Why
Over the years working on set, we’ve witnessed the vast amount of waste at the end of a shooting day. We thought we needed to do our bit for the Planet by helping combat the problem at work and beyond.
We thought the best way would be to sell (what we think) are the best consumable products and educate the consumers on how to dispose of those products correctly. Not only do we want to educate our friends in the film/TV industry, but we also want to sell and educate everyone across the UK!
What(‘s next)
We will continue working hard to source the best new products and solutions
There are some exciting projects in the pipeline, including creating plastic-free/waste-free solutions for all departments in the film industry and working with local cafes, gyms, and restaurants to make sure everyone has access to great compostable packaging!

We pledge only to use eco-friendly products and suppliers to offset emissions we can’t avoid and continuously learn about our environment.
Where
Our logistics & warehouse team are amazing, and if you are in a pickle, please call us. We will do our best to help with urgent orders, or if needed, collection is available from near Gatwick, Surrey.
They are open 0800-1600hrs Monday – Friday and closed on Bank Holidays.
Orders placed before 12pm are aimed to be delivered the next working day, orders placed after 12pm to be despatched next working day.
